Katy Tur

 Katherine Bear Tur was born October 26, 1983. She is an American journalist who is also an author and broadcast journalist. She works as an NBC News correspondent. Tur is an anchor on MSNBC Reports. She hosts Katy Tur Reports since 2021. She also reports for NBC News channels Early Today, Today and NBC Nightly News.



 



 Childhood and early life



 Tur is the daughter of Marika Gerrard and Zoey Tur. She graduated from Brentwood School (2001) and University of California Santa Barbara (2005) with a Bachelor of Arts degree in philosophy. She's of Jewish descent.
